Which Emails and SMS timum Sends
timum keeps customers and your team up to date without any effort on your part. This page shows at a glance which message goes out, when, and to whom – always by email, and additionally by SMS if the feature is enabled for your account.
Recipients in the table:
- Customer – the person who booked (for group appointments, each participant)
- Contact person – the user assigned as the contact for the property or the appointment; their email address comes from the contact profile (see Adjust contact details)

| Appointment reminder | all participants | 2 hours before the appointment |
| Appointment confirmation | Customer | immediately, only for appointments on the same day |
| Appointment cancelled | all participants | on the day of the appointment |
| Appointment rescheduled | all participants | on the day of the appointment |
| Meeting point (address) changed | all participants | on the day of the appointment |
The sender shown is the short name of your provider calendar (Settings → Provider Profile, maximum 11 characters). Details under SMS Notifications.
Who receives the messages sent to your team
Notifications to your team go to the email address in the contact profile of the assigned contact person. Anyone who no longer wants to receive these messages can remove their email address from the profile (see Suppress System Emails) – but then customers will no longer see an email address either. If a central point of contact should receive all messages instead, set the email under Settings → Process settings → Contact information to Calendar instead of Contact person.
You can find your default contact profile in Personal Settings (1) under Default Contact Profile.
